    Green coffee beans

I noticed this ad from Nescafe about new 'Green Blend Coffee'.  I was intrigued if it meant 'environmentally' green or actually coloured green!  It turned out to be neither.  The green bit comes from the fact is:

Made from a blend of unroasted green coffee beans and roasted beans, NESCAFÉ Green Blend has been specially created by coffee experts to deliver great tasting coffee, rich in flavour and aroma, with health benefits The goodness of NESCAFÉ Green Blend lies within the unroasted green coffee beans.

They are naturally rich in polyphenol antioxidants which can help protect the body’s cells from day to day damage. Polyphenol antioxidants are also found in green tea and cocoa. Enjoy as part of a healthy balanced diet and lifestyle

Who likes the sound of it?  Who's going to be buying it?  What do you think of this idea?

Your opinions are really making a difference!

I'm on a diet at the moment and trying new things so i would try this but i would only drink it if it did taste like regular coffee there is no way i could swap my usual one otherwise.

This sounds awful to me!  I am not a great coffee lover, but do like a cappuccino every now and again.  Green coffee?  No thanks - not for me!

Well I do not like the sound of it, do not think i will be buying it at all. the thought of unroasted green beans puts me right off. At least with green tea you know what you are getting.
