    Kraft takeover of Cadbury's

What are people's opinion of this?  I don't really mind it myself - I don't think they'll immediately change the recipe or anything to harm the brand they've just paid loads for.  I don't think the government should somehow step in (as people have protested for) in order that their jobs get saved.  It's obviously sad when people lose their jobs, but I don't see a reason why a chocolate company should be particularly special.

Is anyone gonna stop eating Cadbury's due to this?

Have to agree with you Kingy.  They are a successful company so should have more sense than to mess with the brand or the recipe.  Absolutely nothing to do with the government, they should get on and do what they're paid for.  After the pain of some initial redundancies I think it might even be better for the long-term prospects of UK jobs.

It would be interesting to see some combinations of the two sets of brands though, such as a Dairy Milk Chocolate orange (not orange flavour just shaped into wedges like a chocolate orange), can any one think of any others.

I shan't stop eating Cadbury's chocolate because they have been taken over, unless it starts tasting like Hersheys, which I can't stand!

It does feel a little as if our country is being sold abroad a piece at a time though!
